Discuss how the [NAME OF WORKPLACE] values have guided the way you work:

 

I don’t consider the values as having just guided my work, but my entire life. I have memorized many of the values and chant them to myself every morning before work. The ones I don’t know off by heart I am planning to tattoo on arms.

I would like to thank whoever came up with these values, and for the opportunity to EVERY YEAR cite these values and explain their profound effect on my life and work. It’s certainly worth the fact that I am being asked to act as my own HR department and undertake their duties, if it means I can let people know how awesome the ethos is and how my love of the values transcends the ordinary reasons one might go to work, like the need to earn money.

I suppose my only suggestion might be that “fear of unemployment” be added to our values as I believe this is a very real and motivating factor although I certainly understand your reticence to add this as it might give the impression that this is the only reason for anyone to come to work.
